The Kiser Munitions Aperture is adopted by a major metro Atlanta SWAT team!
We took a bunch of photos yesterday but, all of the teams were not available. After we sort this batch of stuff, we will post a photo page and give more info. In the next few weeks there is a training day for all of the teams and we have been invited back for a full-on photo shoot.
I need to personally thank
Polite Society Inc for all of their help with the photography!!

The
Kiser Munitions Aperture is released! When the first production bodies came out of the HAAS I felt like jumping (or sleeping...). This one has been soooo long coming to market. This sight is specifically for the end user who prefers a fixed rear BUIS or for the folks who need to build an ultralite carbine.
High quality pictures are on the way...hang in there!

Wow. I have already got a lot of email and calls with some really great constructive criticism. First, no preproduction was done for the video - we just went to the range and made it up on the spot. Second, we wanted to do the whole thing in one take so folks wouldn't be able to say we dishonestly edited the video. Third, in the hi-res version you can see the steel target I am shooting but, when I shrunk the video I couldn't preserve that level of clarity. Fourth, nothing "fell off the rifle"...that is broken cinder blocks where the optic slammed through. I will re-shoot this vid as time permits.
To Joe Quinlan (camera man and owner of ZombieTargets.com): THANK YOU! ...and tell your wife thank you. This was like the S.S. Minow: Three hour tour that took forever! Joe showed up at 1PM, I got there at 2:30PM and then I left at 7:30PM - all for two minutes worth of video. Joe you were cool and thank you for not shooting me.
To Joe Harris (owner of CreeksideFiringRange.com): THANK YOU! I appreciate you allowing us the opportunity to come cause trouble at your place.

My friend Joe Quinlan came up with this idea and designed some really great targets. He shoots a lot and one day he got tired of pulling the trigger on the same old IPSC/IDPA/LE/MIL style targets. That coupled with his passion for wacky zombie movies inspired him to put pen to paper. I gotta admit, when he brought over the first life-size prototype, I got a small adrenaline surge and REALLY wanted to shoot it there in my living room. As a business and personal decision he decided not to release anything that was "darker" than PG. I have read where some of his fans want more gore or weirder images BUT then he himself would end up more like his target...and less like the shooter!

Hey Joseph, I'm on the back end of a deployment and wanted to get in touch with you. In Dec 07 you gave me a prototype mount for the Aimpoint 3XMAG. I ended up throwing it in my kit before we deployed and got a chance to use it for a surveillance mission as well as some patroling. It worked and worked well.
I saw your new website and the new version looks great. Let me know if you have any more questions or if you want me to give any more products a run. I'm willing to try them out and spread the word as long as they hold up. Also the bit you wrote on what your company is about is great. I wish you the best of luck!

PS. Oh, if your wondering, yes the mount held up in a gunfight.
